Heya! My name is Sami and I’m a 35-year old developer/designer/artist. I’m living in central Finland with my wife. Originally from Denmark, but I’ve lived in Finland for the past ~26 years.

I’m really into fusion jazz. Like, really really into it. I’m also an avid rhythm gamer and my game of choice has always been 4-panel dancing games (e.g. DDR, ITG and now ITGmania). I used to compete at a national level and after a long hiatus, I’m slowly grinding my way back.

I’ve also spent quite a few hours playing different Tetris games like Tetr.io. Aaaand about 800 hours playing Sombra in Overwatch…

But yeah, that’s me. In general I’m trying to be a friendly dude and I don’t mind yapping about just about anything with anyone. So, feel free to approach me!

Now

I’ve been building some custom modules for ITGmania to allow heart rate data to be shown in-game. It’s been refreshing to build something for other people to use!

Aside from that, I’m still basking in the experience that was the Masayoshi Takanaka gig last month in London. I feel like my head is set totally differently.

In general, life is good.
